The new Leica D-Lux 8 is the ultimate compact camera, designed to deliver exceptional performance in a portable form. Featuring a large 4/3” CMOS sensor with 17 MP effective resolution and a fast 24–75mm f/1.7–2.8 Vario-Summilux lens, the D-Lux 8 combines imaging power with intuitive handling. Its newly redesigned body, crafted from magnesium die-cast, brings a modern button layout and user interface inspired by the acclaimed Leica Q System, giving photographers a seamless blend of heritage design and cutting-edge functionality.

For the first time in the D-Lux line, the camera supports DNG raw capture, an OLED electronic viewfinder, and UHS-II SD card compatibility. The 2.4MP OLED EVF and high-resolution 3” touchscreen LCD make composition and review more precise than ever before. Connectivity is seamless with the Leica FOTOS app, enabling full remote control, firmware updates, and—for the first time—RAW and video file transfers directly to mobile devices.

The sophisticated design is complemented by a range of matching accessories, including leather half cases in black, cognac, and olive, coordinated wrist and carrying straps, and dedicated camera bags. Technical add-ons like the auto lens cap, ergonomic handgrip, and screw-on soft release buttons enhance comfort and personalization, making the D-Lux 8 not just a tool, but a true Leica experience.
